CONESTOGA WORKS
HIGHVAC VENTURI VACUUM PUMP
Conestoga Works’ HighVac venturi vacuum pump offers the highest vacuum level performance available with any air-operated pump. The HighVac pump is capable of delivering vacuum levels up to 29.5”Hg [999mbar] at a vacuum flow rate of 1.3 SCFM. Often used to replace expensive, noisy, heat generating electric pumps, the Conestoga Works HVP pump is quiet (71 dB), maintenance free, and ideal for vacuum stabilizing as the accidental sucking of resin into the pump will not harm it and is quickly cleaned out.
Please Note: Vacuum Level = the magnitude of suction created by the vacuum pump. Vacuum level is affected by elevation and barometric pressure. For each 1,000 feet of elevation, the ultimate vacuum level that the pump can achieve decreases by approximately 1” Hg [22.9mbar]. For example, a HVP pump operating in Denver, Colorado at an altitude of approximately 1 mile [5280 feet] will only be capable of achieving a vacuum level of approximately 24.5” Hg [561mbar]. What most don’t consider is the fact that the pump is pulling the same level of near perfect vacuum at that elevation as at sea level and it isn’t having to work as hard to do so.
